A builder, from backend to product.
I’m Harsh Vardhan Goswami, a backend and platform engineer based in New Delhi. I build the systems behind products, and care just as much about how those products feel to the people using them.
That has taken me from payment infrastructure and health AI to deployment platforms, analytics tools and native macOS apps. Today, I’m building Hakopod and SyneHQ. I also created boring.notch, which has grown into an open-source community with 10.9K GitHub stars and 2.2M+ release downloads.
Reliability meets usability
A deployment should survive a disconnect. A failed release should have a way back. An AI-generated query should be inspectable before it runs. These are the kinds of details I work on: durable queues, recovery workflows, tenant isolation and clear controls.
My work doesn’t stop at the backend. At NarStri, I helped launch a health AI product and owned customer-facing flows and wearable integrations. With boring.notch, I built a small everyday tool in Swift and SwiftUI, then developed it alongside open-source contributors.
Learning alongside building
I’m working toward an honours degree in Artificial Intelligence at IIT Guwahati, expected in 2027. I also completed a Bachelor of Computer Applications at IGNOU. Building products gives me practical questions to bring back to that learning.
