I created the original app in Swift and SwiftUI, using the MacBook notch as a home for music controls and everyday utilities. The project brings my product-focused work into native macOS development, with Swift, SwiftUI and AppKit as the core technology stack.
From an original app to a shared project
After building the original version, I continued developing boring.notch with an open-source contributor community. My role began as the creator of the app; its ongoing development has brought other contributors into the project.
